MSc in International Economics and Business Administration (IEBA)

Academic Year 2026–2027

The application for admission to the MSc IEBA – International Economics and Business Administration
for the 2026–27 cohort opens March 6, 2026 at 10:00 CET.

Admission requirements
The IEBA MSc is open to students who have already obtained a first university degree with an
equivalent of at least 180 ECTS credits (in the European system or equivalent) after at least three
years of study at Bachelor of Science (BSc) level in Economics or in closely related fields (such as
Accounting, Business, Business Administration, Engineering, Management, Statistics) with a strong
quantitative background.
Mandatory prerequisites are: Mathematics and Statistics (12 ECTS), Economics, Statistics, and
Econometrics (48 ECTS). Students are expected to have also an intermediate knowledge level of
Business Administration to take advantage of the courses provided in Bamberg.
The BSc degree must be obtained before 30 June 2026 for non-EU students and before
September 30, 2026 for EU students.

The IEBA MSc is an international triple degree program involving the following partner universities:

  • University of Verona (Italy, coordinator)

  • University of Bamberg (Germany)

  • Université de Bordeaux (France)

  • Universidade do Porto (Portugal)

The program spans two years (120 ECTS) and is currently organized into two mobility tracks:


  • Business-oriented track: Verona → Porto → Bamberg

  • Economics-oriented track: Verona → Bordeaux → Bamberg

Students in both tracks will begin the program at the University of Verona in the first semester. They will then move to the partner institutions according to their selected track for the second and third semesters. In the fourth semester, students will complete a master’s thesis supervised by professors from two different universities within their track.
